Mather Jamie has let more space to a rapidly expanding corporate events specialist take up an additional industrial unit in Loughborough in order to accommodate business growth.
Event Engineering, an audio visual and technical production company, has just expanded into Unit 3 at Windmill Road – its third premises at the industrial estate.
The additional 3,411 sq ft provided by Unit 3 will take Event Engineering’s total industrial space to 8,500 sq ft and will be used to create a new workshop, which will also lead to the creation of four new jobs at the company.
Alex Reid, of Mather Jamie, comments: “We are pleased to have assisted Event Engineering with their search for new premises in Loughborough.
“Unit 3 is an ideal space to suit a variety of industrial storage operators and sits in an established industrial area.
“One of Windmill Road’s main selling points is the superb access it provides for the M1 via Junction 23, which is just five miles away.
“It’s great to see a local company thriving and creating new jobs for the local community, and we hope their rapid expansion continues in the future.”
Paul Millard, Director at Event Engineering, comments: “This is the third unit we’ve had to take up on the industrial estate in order to accommodate the rapid growth of the business.
“We started off with a single unit six years ago, expanded into a second three years ago and are now moving into our third; our business plan predicts that in three years time we will need over 10,000 sq ft and will need to expand into another unit.
“The reason we have had to take up three units at Windmill Road is due to a lack of suitable industrial space in the area.
“If we were to move premises we would need accommodation that offers over 10,000 sq ft in order to support future expansion.
“There are many benefits to this location, including the close access to the A6 and M1, which is important to us as we work all over the country.
“We now plan to build a new workshop in the new unit and will use our additional two units as storage space.”
