Following his appointment to CBRE’s City Investment team, Robert Silvester is now to head up the firm’s UK Regional Capital Markets team, bringing with him excellent experience across the UK’s investment markets and contacts with key institutional and overseas investors.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2010, Robert spent a number of years at Rock Asset Management Ltd where he was responsible for over £850 million of commercial real estate transactions, a portfolio in excess of £250 million and pan-European sale and leaseback deals. He was also instrumental in setting up King Sturge’s City Investment team.
Commenting on his new role, Robert Silvester said: “With my previous investment market experience, the contacts I have developed and the experience I have gained having worked on both sides of deals, I am looking forward to helping clients take advantage of the opportunities in the current market through my new regional role.”
James Brounger, Managing Director, CBRE South Central, added: “Robert’s focus will be largely on investment transactions throughout the regions outside Central London. He will also be heavily involved within the South Central area working alongside the Agency team in the Southampton office.”
