DTZ’s Newcastle office today announced the appointment of Katherine Brooker as Associate Director to head up the Town Planning team in the North East of England. Katherine’s appointment adds to DTZ’s growing town planning service offering across the UK and will complement the existing Development Consultancy services provided from its Newcastle office.
Katherine is a Chartered Town Planner who has over 13 years experience working for both public and private sector clients. Her role at DTZ will focuses on preparing, submitting and securing planning permission and related consents for major and complex developments. She will also be advising on: the lawful implementation of development; planning feasibility; estate strategies and promoting land through the Development Plan process.
Katherine joins DTZ from Bond Dickinson LLP where she provided town planning services across a number of key sectors, including healthcare, education, industrial, the historic environment, private estates, commercial development and housing.
Her appointment follows the additions of Andrew Teage, Rhian Davitt-Jones and Katharine Morgan to DTZ’s Northern region planning team.
