A south coast accountancy firm which celebrates its centenary this year has been shortlisted for a top national award.
Princecroft Willis (PcW) is one of only four firms across the UK shortlisted for the ‘Tax practice in a regional firm’ category at the 2014 Taxation Awards.
The results will be announced at a black tie dinner at the London Hilton Park Lane on Thursday May 22.
A six-strong contingent will represent the firm at the event including Julian Smith, Private Client Services Partner; Simon Anslow, VAT Partner; Heather Williams, Corporate Tax Director, and John Caithness, Business Tax Director.
Mark Johns, PcW’s Managing Partner, said: “Whatever the outcome on the night, the team has done fantastically well to be shortlisted for what are widely regarded as the premier national tax awards.
“2014 is a very special year for Princecroft Willis and to win a major national award would represent the icing on the cake. We’ll be keeping our fingers and just about everything else crossed.”
Launched 13 years ago, the LexisNexis Taxation Awards celebrate the success of teams and individuals in all areas of tax.
This year’s event features 14 categories as well as awards for the tax personality of the year and lifetime achievement.
Princecroft Willis, which has offices in Poole, Dorset, and New Milton, Hampshire, offers a full range of accounting services from audit to taxation.
Locally based, independent and with strong community roots, the firm has ten partners and more than 100 team members.
