Leamington-based RNF Digital Innovation is planning European expansion after being selected for a new business programme designed to help technology firms succeed in foreign markets.
Following an intensive selection process, RNF Digital Innovation has been chosen as one of a select 100 companies for the ACE programme – a business support hub set-up to help technology entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs rapidly grow their businesses in Europe.
RNF Digital Innovation’s Managing Director Rob Mannion attended a summit in Brussels where he was introduced to investors, mentors, policymakers and intermediaries.
A series of workshops, network events and advisor forums presented RNF Digital Innovation with the chance to pitch directly to a range of international investors, mentors and potential business partners.
The Brussels event is already reaping rewards for RNF Digital Innovation, with strong potential investment leads from Belgium, Germany and France.
Rob Mannion, RNF Digital Innovation Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to have been selected onto the ACE Programme. It represents a great opportunity to gain access to potential investors and funding partners alongside expert mentoring and advice services.
“RNF Digital Innovation is looking to position itself as the lead importer in Europe of the new iBeacon technology and the ACE Programme summit provided us with a platform to present our investment proposition to potential new business partners and investors.
We are really encouraged by the leads the event has given us and they offer an exciting opportunity for us to drive forward our European expansion plans.”
Rob added that RNF Digital Innovation is currently trialling the iBeacon technology with a number of large UK firms, including a major retail outlet.
