A new networking business lunch is being launched in Leamington next month by one of the region’s largest independent accountants.
Baldwins Accountants is hosting the event at Restaurant 23 and Morgan’s Bar in Hamilton Terrace on Tuesday, May 20 between noon and 2.30pm.
Claire Stacey-Connor, a partner at Baldwins accountants in Waterloo Place, Leamington, has organised the business lunch to give local business owners and professionals the chance to network and enjoy a two-course lunch.
The keynote speaker will be Mark Selby, Corporate Finance Director at Baldwins, who will give advice on the important steps to take before selling a business.
Claire said: “This is the first time Baldwins has organised an event like this in Leamington and should it be well received then we plan to make this a regular series of networking lunches.
“As well as being an ideal chance for our clients, professional contacts and potential clients to network, we hope everyone will find Mark’s speech valuable.
“He will be discussing the foundations which should be put in place to maximise the future sale value of a business particularly those considering selling in five to seven years’ time.
“It is an area which needs careful consideration and planning since it is not a decision which is taken overnight and Mark has vast experience in giving high-quality advice to clients.
“The presentation will be useful for business people in all sectors and this will give Baldwins an opportunity to raise our profile in Leamington and highlight the services of the broad range of specialists we have across many areas of accounting.
“Restaurant 23 has built a reputation for fine dining and we hope the mixture of fantastic food, great company and an expert presentation will prove to be a winning combination.”
