A Dorset law firm is celebrating a double success.
Ellis Jones Solicitors has been awarded the coveted Lexcel quality mark for the 11th year running.
Lexcel is awarded to solicitors who meet the highest business management and client care standards.
About 1,500 legal practices in England and Wales have achieved the coveted mark.
Ellis Jones has also been re-awarded Investors in People (IiP) accreditation, the UK’s leading people management quality standard.
It means the law firm, which employs more than 100 staff and has offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Ringwood, Swanage and London, can now boast 21 years of unbroken IiP status.
Nigel Smith, Managing Partner, said: “These are both highly prized standards and we’re very proud to receive them again.
“The Lexcel mark, in particular, is formal recognition of the way in which we work and is the result of rigorous assessment.
“It’s a real credit to the team and, on behalf of my fellow partners, I congratulate them on these achievements.”
Nicholas Fluck, President of the Law Society of England and Wales, said: “Gaining and maintaining Lexcel is no mean feat. There are many facets of being a Lexcel accredited law firm, including client care. A commitment to customer service in today’s evermore competitive legal services market is vital.
“By undergoing the rigorous Lexcel application and assessment process practices can show the positive steps they are taking to help clients in the increasingly diverse, complicated legal services market. The scheme is a beacon of quality to clients and potential clients alike.”
