Nigel Foster has been appointed director and head of property management at the Birmingham office of national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), it was announced today.
With over 25 years’ property experience, including periods at CBRE and Horton’s Estates, Nigel is a well-known figure in the Midlands commercial property market. He joins LSH from Black Country-based chartered surveyors Bulleys where he was head of property management for four years.
He said: “Joining Lambert Smith Hampton was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. They have a strong local and national client base and I’m looking forward to working with their existing clients such as Aberdeen Asset Management, IVG, Severn Trent Water and British Steel Pension Fund. Having worked both client side and in private practice for a number of years, my knowledge of the regional market will help drive the LSH management team on to even greater success.”
Nigel, from Redditch in Worcestershire, specialises in strategic asset management, acquisitions and development. Expertise includes pro-active asset management, including refurbishing existing buildings, direct experience of acquisitions and disposals, and mixed development work. He is also a non-executive director of the Black Country Housing Group.
Adam Ramshaw, head of office at LSH in Birmingham, said: “I’m delighted with Nigel’s appointment, which is yet another exciting addition to our team here in Birmingham. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise and I am sure he will work extremely well alongside fellow director John Bird to drive the management team forward.”
