Hat trick of quick deals at Quadrant Industrial Estate

Three national companies have moved to new premises at Quadrant Industrial Estate in Almondsbury, Bristol, following the completion of major refurbishment at the estate.

The NHS, care services provider Eleanor Healthcare Group and Premier Contracts, a supplier of sanitaryware and bathroom furniture, have all moved to the industrial estate in a quick series of deals brokered by JLL and Russell Property Consultants.

The hat trick of deals totals more than 40,000 sq ft and demonstrates the growing demand for well connected and high quality industrial space.

Eleanor Healthcare Group has leased the largest amount of space at 20,000 sq ft as part of its ongoing expansion.

Graham Walsh, operations & business development director of Eleanor Healthcare Group, said: “Location is paramount to what we do in serving the NHS, and Quadrant perfectly meets that need.  We are delighted at how quickly the lease was completed, enabling us to focus quickly on our customers in our new location.”

Chris Miles, associate director for UK industrial & logistics at JLL, which brokered the Eleanor Healthcare Group deal said: “Quadrant has undergone major refurbishment in recent months demonstrating commitment from the landlord and this proactive approach is paying off. We are finding that landlords who are prepared to invest in their properties are well placed to catch the upturn in market confidence.”

Rob Russell, director at Russell Property Consultants, who are joint agents on the estate, added: “Occupier confidence is growing and refurbished estates in close proximity to the M4 and M5 such as Quadrant are benefiting from improving demand. In the past few months, the number of vacant units at Quadrant has been significantly reduced because of the wide range of units, from 9,500 to 20,000 sq ft, on offer.”
