City of Newport Business Club announces their end of Season business meeting with a difference – A Murder Mystery Night on Thursday 15th May at The Holiday Inn, Newport. Dai Laughing Productions based in Abergavenny, present this networking meeting with a dastardly twist. The scenario is as follows:
It’s the AGM of Oldport Business Forum (a suburb of Newport, if you didn’t know) and someone has decided that the Chairperson has outlived her usefulness and should be disposed of – permanently. Can you work out who did it in this humorous whodunit? Bookings are now being taken for this last meeting in the 2013/14 City of Newport Business Club calendar. Can the intellectual business people of Newport apply their grey matter to solve this hideous crime? Come along and see.
Dai Laughing Productions was created in 2010 and write and perform murder mystery events to raise money for charities and good causes. Over £11,500 has been raised so far. Find them on Facebook. The Olive Branch will be the beneficiary of this event. The Olive Branch provide a quality non- discriminatory advice, advocacy and support service to homeless or vulnerably housed people in Newport Gwent. Their Day Centre in Stow Hill is run by volunteers from local churches and residents from the local area.
The Club’s Chairman, Janine Dance commented: “We thought we would end the 2013/14 season with another one of our trademark, unusual, end-of-season events. We hope everyone puts on their thinking caps to solve the murder. It should be a really fun and intriguing night”.
The event, which is open to all business people, takes place at the Holiday Inn, Newport on Thursday 15th May 2014 at 5.30pm and cost £35 per person.
