Three partners from the Birmingham office of national law firm Mills & Reeve have been recognised in this year’s Citywealth Leaders List.
Matthew Hansell, John Grundy and Marc Saunderson from the firm’s private wealth team have all been named on the list, which aims to identify and promote leading talent in the private client advisory sector.
Now in its ninth year, the list is compiled by Citywealth, the magazine for global wealth management experts dealing with £20 million+ high net worth clients.
Matthew Hansell, partner at Mills & Reeve, heads the firm’s national private wealth team where he specialises in advising individuals on estate planning. He has previously been acknowledged as a leading individual in the Legal 500 and listed in Eprivateclient’s “50 Most Influential 2014”.
Joining him on the Citywealth Leaders List are fellow partners John Grundy and Marc Saunderson. John advises individuals on all aspects of tax and estate planning and is chairman of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners. Marc specialises in family law dealing predominantly with high net worth cases. He advises individuals following the breakdown of marriages and relationships and is chair of the Birmingham Family Law Group.
Also receiving a seal of approval is consultant Gary Barber, who specialises in tax planning for high net worth individuals and the administration of trusts and estates.
To add to its list of achievements, the firm’s private wealth team has received a further nod from Eprivateclient. The leading web site and news service for private client practitioners has named Mills & Reeve as one of its Top 25 Private Client Firms.
Matthew Hansell, head of Mills & Reeve’s Birmingham office, said: “It is great to see our office winning more plaudits for its work in the private wealth advisory market. The Citywealth Leaders List was voted for by industry insiders and clients, which is a further reflection of the quality of service that our team offers and Mills & Reeve’s strong position in the UK legal market.”
Mills & Reeve’s national private wealth team, made up of more than 100 lawyers, advises high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and professionals on estate planning, including wills, trusts, family investment companies and family charters.
