Based in Queens Avenue, Clifton, opposite the side frontage of the old Habitat store, Bike UK has recently acquired the adjoining furniture store to provide much needed space to expand its range of stock and a whole new workshop with even greater capacity. Bristol based property consultants, Williams Gunter Hardwick, negotiated the deal on behalf of Bike.
This independent retailer specialises in all aspects of bike sales across the various ranges to include road, mountain, touring, folding and commute bikes.
The business employs 12 knowledgeable cyclists who are able to assist with new bike purchases, specialist clothing and accessories.
In addition there is a dedicated team of 6 mechanics, as servicing is a big part of the business.
Bike Director, Lyle Finlay, commented:
“We are absolutely delighted with this acquisition which improves our capacity to provide more choice, a better environment and increased capacity to assist our very loyal customer base. The extra space gives us the opportunity to remodel and upgrade the fit out of the store which I am sure our customers will appreciate”.
Bike UK trades from one other outlet in Station Road, Taunton under the banner of Ralph Colman Cycles.
