A newly-sold property on a Salisbury trading estate will be utilised as storage/workshop space.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major acted as the agent in the sale to Toogood’s Property Company Ltd at the Sarum Business Park.
The unit at the Old Sarum estate on the edge of Salisbury measures 5,040 sq ft (468.22 sq m).
Dean Speer, a partner at Salisbury-based Myddelton & Major, said: “We find that premises are always in demand on this business park.
“It is good sign of the economy picking up as another business expands to meet growing demand.”
The unit has workshop and storage space with central heating, cloakrooms and parking. It has a timber truss roof and a minimum eaves height of 10ft 2in (3.1m).
The business park has 26 units
It is on Lancaster Road near the site of Old Sarum, about 1.5 miles north of Salisbury.
Old Sarum is the site of the original city of Salisbury and its cathedral before it was abandoned in the Middle Ages in favour of the current location.
The business park is next to the Portway which connects to the A345 road from Salisbury to Amesbury, where there is a link to the A303.
It is also next to the Old Sarum Airfield, which is available for use. It close to rail links in Salisbury city centre and road networks to Southampton, Bristol and Exeter.
Myddelton & Major has let a series of units to businesses on the park, including Brew UK in July of last year.
Other tenants on the business park include Sarum Crossfit, Alltecnique, and Rawlence and Brown accountants.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
