We received a number of freehold enquiries for the property which resulted in a competitive bidding process on the property and a very strong value was achieved. This indicates a certain level of confidence is returning to the office market. Of course properties in this area of the City are always in demand from owner occupiers but even I was surprised by the amount of interest that we received for the building.
We have now concluded a number of freehold transactions in the Professional Quarter of the City over the last 12 months and the general tone of values being achieved in the area is certainly increasing.”
