St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has announced a new letting at its popular Heartlands Park industrial/warehouse address in Washwood Heath.
Boden Rail Engineering has signed up for a second unit, with direct rail access, representing 13,000 sq ft of space, taking its total facilities on site to in excess of 34,000 sq ft.
The company, which restores and maintains railway carriages for a wide range of customers, is one of the leaders in the industry, with an impressive track record of success over the last ten years.
Ian Romano, senior development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “We’re pleased to have completed this latest deal which sees Boden Rail Engineering take further significant space at Heartlands Park. The letting will enable the company to expand its operational space and as a result its ability to undertake larger projects for its clients.
“Heartlands Park is an incredibly popular location, especially for businesses that require direct rail access and strong road transport links, via the region’s motorway network.
“We’ve completed a number of significant deals over the last eight months, including signing infrastructure giant Network Rail to a 38,000 sq ft unit last year. Confidence amongst occupiers has also increased, with home storage solution and bathroom accessory provider Lloyds Pascal and white goods manufacturer Beko, taking 140,000 sq ft of additional space between them at the end of last year.
“This latest deal is evidence that appetite exists amongst businesses to expand operations in well-located sites that provide good quality accessible accommodation that meet their future business requirements as they grow.
“We wish Boden Rail Engineering success with their future business expansion.”
Located off the A47 Heartlands Parkway, the Business Park also benefits from its location close to the M6 and M42 motorways.
Andrew Cosnett of Jones Lang LaSalle acted as agent to St. Modwen on the deals.
