An events specialist built upon its innovative approach to creating exhibition space for companies has outgrown its new base at a rural business hub in Warwickshire within a month.
Quest Mosaic has expanded into a bigger office at the Rural Innovation Centre based at Stoneleigh Park just a few weeks after moving there from Honiley near Warwick.
The company has already taken on an office twice the size of its initial space to accommodate more freelance staff that it employs to work on events and exhibitions on behalf of clients throughout the UK and Europe.
Managing director Malcolm Briggs founded Quest Mosaic in 2010 with the aim of sharing event and exhibition techniques that he had developed for blue-chip companies with smaller enterprises.
He said: “There is a rising cost associated with floor space at trade exhibitions and we try to be creative with the stands that we design and build for companies to help them achieve a better return.
“We often use innovative materials such as architectural cardboard and stretch fabric instead of traditional timber which makes a stand recyclable or reusable and can therefore result in financial and environmental savings.”
Quest Mosaic also specialises in consultancy and training for exhibitors, as well as digital marketing which involves devising online tools to improve efficiency and results.
It has developed a system used by Specsavers to capture data at events and a programme for Deutsche Bank to enable employees to arrange meetings at major trade shows and exhibitions.
Malcolm said: “Running a digital business with global clients means that we need access to high-speed broadband and that was part of the reason for moving to the Rural Innovation Centre. Stoneleigh Park is also synonymous with events and so it seemed an obvious fit.
“With the events and the range of businesses based here, there is a great network for us to tap into.”
The Rural Innovation Centre, which is part of the Warwickshire Rural Growth Network (RGN), is close to full occupation since being opened in October to help small firms within rural Warwickshire thrive by providing a range of serviced offices and free business support.
The RGN is funded by DEFRA and led by Warwickshire County Council on behalf of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership. The Rural Innovation Centre building was refurbished by LaSalle Investment Management as part of its revitalisation of Stoneleigh Park.
Liz Burkinshaw, manager of the Rural Innovation Centre, said: “Quest Mosaic is among a number of businesses who have already expanded into bigger or additional office space since moving here and it is great to be able to support them with that flexibility.”
