Browne Jacobson has advised Dalet Digital Media Systems, a provider of Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions, software and services for broadcasters and content providers, on its acquisition of British TV broadcast software provider AmberFin for an undisclosed sum.
Basingstoke-based AmberFin was established in 2008 and specialises in providing video ingest, complex media manipulation, transcoding and quality control solutions (QC) for broadcasters, sports organisations, post-production houses and other media content owners. Clients include Sony, NBA, Turner Broadcasting, BT, Channel 4, RTM and Warner Brothers, amongst others.
Headquartered in France, Dalet Digital Media Systems was founded in 1990 and provides solutions to enable broadcasters and media professionals to create, manage, and distribute content for traditional and new media channels, including interactive TV, the Web, and mobile networks. Clients include the BBC, Canal+, FOX, Warner Bros. and Time Warner Cable.
