Acting on behalf of Hargreaves Developments Ltd, national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has let Unit C on Hamilton Business Park to Truvox International Ltd.
Truvox International Ltd has accepted a new 15 year lease on a 18,600 sq ft industrial unit located on Hamilton Business Park in Hedge End.
The company has taken Unit C on the park at £142,250, with five yearly rent reviews.
Truvox International Ltd is a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial and commercial floor cleaning machines in the UK and has been based in Millbrook, Southampton for over 30 years.
The company has been looking on and off for four years to relocate to another location in Southampton. Its partner in the US, Tacony Corporation, was keen for Truvox to move to a more modern, high quality building.
David Overell, Managing Director of Truvox International Ltd, said: “We are extremely excited about this move, which marks a new era for the company. The new premises will provide a professional working environment for our team, and will also enable us to conduct product training on site. The move represents a significant long-term investment in Truvox by our parent company, Tacony Corporation, which will help us to further strengthen our position as a leading global provider of quality floor care equipment. We look forward to welcoming potential and existing clients to our new home soon.”
Adrian Whitfield, Director in LSH’s South Coast offices, says: “Once the decision was made to relocate, Truvox recognised the shortage of good quality space now available along the M27. As soon as they were made aware that Unit C was available, they moved quickly to secure the building. Unit C is a modern warehouse unit with offices, located on a well established industrial and trade counter location within 0.5 miles of the M27 between Southampton and Portsmouth.”
Current occupiers on Hamilton Business Park include Wickes, Magnet, Matthew Clark, Tileflair, Screwfix and Apple Conservatories. The Estate is also close to Hedge End Retail Park which includes occupiers such as Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer.
Truvox was represented by GL Hearn.
