The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) are once again encouraging the repair and maintenance of existing buildings though their annual Maintenance Week. Running from the 18th – 25th November 2011, Maintenance Week aims at educating and aiding property owners and occupiers in the repair and maintenance of their buildings.
James Dutton of Goadsby Building Consultancy comments “this time of year is very important in the maintenance cycle of a building. Regular maintenance and undertaking necessary repairs can alleviate costly works during the winter months as weather conditions deteriorate. ”
“At Goadsby Building Consultancy we have a team of dedicated building surveyors experienced in the repair and refurbishment of a wide range of building types. We are able to assist in building defect analysis, specifying and monitoring repair and maintenance work and establishing maintenance programmes to enable effective building management.”
