Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately-held real estate services firm, has advised premium French fashion brand IRO on its first UK store at Brompton Cross in west London.
When the 1,500 sq ft store opens this summer, IRO will join other high-end retailers such as Philip Lim, Carven, Carolina Herrera, J Crew Women, Maje and Sandro in the area, which is fast becoming London’s newest luxury address behind Bond Street, Sloane Street and Mount Street.
The Paris-based brand, launched in 2004 by brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton, is looking to open three or four additional stores across London and the UK in the near future.
Natalie Lintott, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s central London retail team, said: “IRO’s edgy appeal will ensure success in Brompton Cross – the brand fits perfectly into the eclectic and upmarket tenant mix in the area. Brompton Cross has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years and is now firmly positioned as London’s ‘fourth luxury destination’.”
