Acting on behalf of the landlords, agents Knight Frank and DTZ have recently completed lettings of two 4,500 sq ft units at Portmanmoor Road Industrial Estate, Cardiff. Moorland Environmental Ltd, which already occupies Unit 43, let the adjoining unit to facilitate its continued expansion of its Waste Management Business.
Wales & West Utilities Limited have taken a lease of unit 46, which includes an adjacent yard area. The premises are currently being fitted out and will be used as a new Depot site, primarily serving the Cardiff area.
Following on from these letting successes the landlord has continued its programme of refurbishment and has recently completed the £400,000 refurbishment of Unit 36. The 25,660 sq ft detached unit also benefits from a secure two acre site.
Neil Francis, head of the industrial agency at Knight Frank, said: “Unit 36 is now one of the best industrial units of this size available in Cardiff and we are already seeing interest from potential occupiers.”
Chris Yates of DTZ in Cardiff said: “These recent lettings are testament to our clients’ continued willingness to invest in Portmanmoor Road Industrial Estate and reflects their confidence that Portmanmoor Road remains one of the best located industrial areas in Cardiff.”
