A hat-trick of deals has been struck at one of Coventry city centre’s prime office locations.
Greyfriars Court, which is owned and managed by Hortons, has attracted Newmans Estate Agents, CIP Recruitment and Pitman Training Coventry.
The property, which is off Greyfriars Road and Queen Victoria Road, features offices of between 1,000 and 5,000 sq ft is now 86 per cent full.
Commercial property agents Shortland Penn + Moore and D&P Holt helped to attract the new tenants to the office property which is situated in the heart of the business district in the city.
Nina Meeks, of Hortons, said it was a positive sign for the office market. She said: “We are extremely pleased to have attracted three growing Coventry companies into the offices at Greyfriars Court.
“In each instance they have said that the quality of both the space and the location helped to attract them to the property and that is great to hear.
“The general success of Greyfriars Court is positive news for the office market in Coventry and we are receiving good interest in the final few remaining offices.”
Pitman Training Coventry is part of the Pitman Training Group, which is a leading UK and international provider of training in bookkeeping, secretarial and office management, Microsoft Office, personal development, web design, IT technical skills and business and management skills.
CIP is a temporary recruitment agency working predominantly in the automotive and industrial sectors. It has moved from offices near the railway station to be based at Greyfriars Court.
Newmans Estate Agent is more than 25 years old and has expertise in both residential sales and lettings across Coventry and Warwickshire and the move is part of its expansion in the city.
James Compton, of Shortland Penn + Moore, added: “There is a recognised need for more office space in Coventry and Greyfriars Court proves that if you get the product right, it will be successful.”
Rupert Gillitt, of D&P Holt, said: “Greyfriars Court is one of the highest quality city centre office locations that we have here in Coventry and that is being reflected in the level of interest and the deals being done here.”
