Commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has been awarded the Most Active Agent in the South East and has been recognised for its Lettings, Office Agency and Industrial divisions in the annual Estates Gazette property rankings.
Estates Gazette has released its annual Most Active Agent rankings and it appears there’s no stopping Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) as it took pole position in the Thames Valley, winning the title of Most Active Agent in the South East.
LSH beat Brasier Freeth in second place and Wadham and Isherwood in third to take the top spot. Estates Gazette commented: “The industry may be in flux at national level but the Home Counties remain defiantly Lambert Smith Hampton territory. It scored more than twice as many office deals as its nearest competitor and enjoyed a huge lead in industrial, thus sewing up the win.”
The Estates Gazette rankings are based on the number of transactions commercial property agents have conducted across all property types in all regions of the country in 2013. The rankings, which have been running for years, are a respected property industry marker of performance.
Among the deals secured by LSH last year was the biggest letting on the Oxford market for 2013 – the 31,500 sq ft Hinshelwood building for Holiday Lettings, a subsidiary of TripAdvisor, on the Oxford Science Park – and the 53,283 sq ft letting of Building 1 on Vanwall Business Park in Maidenhead to Abbott Laboratories, a deal which blindsided the market and was also the biggest office letting in Maidenhead in 2013.
LSH also won Most Active Agents in Wales in the EGi deals awards and took a top three position in the national Lettings, Office Agency and Industrial Agents categories.
