Six new appointments for DTZ’s Management team

DTZ today announced six new appointments to its management team in Birmingham, which services a range of national and regional clients and covers a breadth of disciplines from retail asset management to facilities management.

Joining the portfolio management team as Associate Director is Catherine McLoughlin and Harmail Bains as Senior Surveyor. Catherine joins from Ashtenne Industrial Fund where she was Midlands Regional Manager whilst Harmail joins from the Corporate Solutions team at Colliers International where she was Contract Manager for the Mitchells and Butlers portfolio.

In their new roles, Catherine and Harmail will be providing professional management and asset management services to Calthorpe Estates, one of the largest landowners in Birmingham.

Mike Hickling joins DTZ as a Roving Facilities Manager. He was previously a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Facilities Manager at Gleeds. He will be managing a number of properties in the West Midlands and also managing Compliance for the Standard Life SIPP Void Properties.

Senior Surveyors David Clark, David Fee and Peter Boyden join the Retail Asset Management team and will be responsible for driving footfall and increasing revenue at some of the most well known shopping centres across the Midlands.

David Clark joins DTZ from Blue Marble Properties in Worcester where he was Head of Commercial Management with responsibility for managing commercial, industrial and retail leisure stock across the UK. He will be responsible for the management of Telford Shopping Centre, Grand Arcade in Cambridge and Caxtongate in Birmingham.

With over 10 years experience in property management, David Fee joins from Savills in Dublin where he was responsible for the management of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, the second largest centre in the Republic of Ireland. He will be responsible for the management of the Saddlers Shopping Centre in Walsall and The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton.

Peter Boyden returns to DTZ after a seven year absence. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was responsible for a mixed portfolio of premises including retail, office, industrial and warehouse/distribution. At DTZ, he will be tasked with managing the Swan Centre in Kidderminster and Lower Precinct Centre in Coventry.
