One of the UK’s leading commercial tax specialists is going from strength-to-strength following a period of rapid growth and expansion which has seen it double its turnover and triple its team.
Wolverhampton-based Six Forward, an independent property tax planning and consultancy, is celebrating a period of success which has seen the company increase its turnover to approaching £1 million and strengthen its team through the addition of seven new members of staff in the last 18 months alone.
Jake Iles, Director at Six Forward, explained: “It has been a fantastic year for Six Forward, not only have we significantly increased our turnover again, which is a great achievement alone, but through growth and acquisition we have also welcomed new shareholders, directors and staff.”
Re-launched in 2010 as a capital allowances consultancy, the expert team at Six Forward work alongside accountants, solicitors, and other professional advisers to help commercial investors obtain significant savings through capital allowance tax relief, which is one of the few remaining legitimate tax planning respites still available. Since its introduction, the consultancy has analysed over £600 million of expenditure, identified £120 million of allowances and saved clients over £20 million in tax, and this year so far has seen enquiries exceed £100 million.
“Capital Allowances is a very valuable form of tax relief for commercial investors; however there is still much confusion around the topic, with many unsure about whose responsibility it is to interpret. We work alongside professionals who oversee the commercial property buying and selling process to advise the best course of action, and help them to ensure their clients reap the savings they’re entitled too and more importantly they’re not lost going forward.
“We’re proud to boast a team of highly-skilled surveyors, engineers, accountants and tax advisers who are fully conversant with current HMRC and Valuation Office requirements, so our owner clients can be safe in the knowledge they’re receiving the most reliable and practical advice from a team who have the relevant expertise and the right approach” he concluded.
