Loughborough-based house builder, William Davis Homes has announced one of its site managers has won an NHBC Regional Pride in the Job Award.
Martin Bottomley, site manager at the company’s picturesque private housing development of Morledge, in Matlock, Derbyshire won an East of England Regional award in the medium builder category*. Announced at the competition’s sixth Regional dinner at the Athena in Leicester, Martin was recognised for his continual drive to improve the quality of homes at Morledge and will now go forward to represent the Region in the National Supreme Awards in January. Here he will meet colleague, Tony Armson, also a Regional Award winner for the West of England.

Pride in the Job is the only awards scheme to reward site managers for their contribution towards the house building process and is now in its 31st year. Over 13,000 site managers are judged across 38 different criteria, with a particular emphasis on consistency, leadership, technical expertise and Health & Safety.
