The Welsh Government is seeking expressions of interest from developers to build a range of speculative industrial units on Anglesey and Deeside Enterprise Zones to accommodate expanding businesses and attract new investment.
The need for new floor space was identified as a priority by the advisory boards of both enterprise zones and seen as vital for the success of each zone.
Economy Minister Edwina Hart said: “The availability of modern, ready to occupy premises can speed up the process for companies looking to locate in the zones or for companies already based in the zones that may be looking to expand.
“ Together with other available incentives, this will help strengthen our proposition and make the Zones more attractive for companies looking to invest.”
Discussions are also on going with developers that have already expressed interest in undertaking speculative development within the two zones.
