A waterfront office scheme in Bristol city centre has attracted a new tenant after recently undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme.
Fox Hartley Solicitors has taken 3,047 sq ft of space at Bull Wharf in a deal brokered by the Bristol office of DTZ on behalf of a fund managed by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.
Located in a prominent waterfront position on Redcliff Street, Bull Wharf underwent a comprehensive refurbishment programme in 2012 which included an extension to the reception area, raised floors, air conditioning and improvements to common areas. There is currently 9,750 sq ft of newly refurbished accommodation available at the building.
Phil Moore, Associate Director in DTZ’s Office agency team commented: “Due to a limited development pipeline in Bristol city centre, we are now seeing a greater number of firms interested in good quality space of this type.
The recent refurbishment of Bull Wharf has transformed the building and delivered new high quality offices in line with market demands. We have had considerable interest in the building from tenants keen to take advantage of high quality floorplates with waterside views.”
Fox Hartley Solicitors is a specialist litigation practice serving the insurance market and manufacturing industry and has offices in London and Bristol.
Trevor Fox at Fox Hartley said: “We are very pleased to be moving Bull Wharf. It looks out directly onto the Floating Harbour on one side and the new Court Centre on the other. The area has been rejuvenated since I moved down to Bristol 15 years ago. Everyone here is excited about the move.”
