Commercial property specialist, FG Burnett, has invested in the future with the appointment of four graduates across its Scottish offices.
The newest recruits continues FG Burnett’s commitment to graduate employment and follows the recent promotion to director level of former graduate starts, Dan Smith and Jim Johnstone.
Graeme Millar and Iona Foubister, have joined the Agency and Building Consultancy teams in Aberdeen after graduating from The Robert Gordon University, while Glasgow Caledonian University graduates Andrew Brass and Emilio De Marco have been appointed to the Glasgow office’s Investment and Building Consultancy departments, respectively.
Graeme Millar graduated in Building Surveying and along with Property Management and Valuation graduate Andrew Brass will be supported by FG Burnett in studying for their RICS Assessment of Professional Competence qualifications.
Building Surveying graduates Emilio De Marco and Iona Foubister are working on a range of services including building consents, dilapidations, schedule of conditions and contract administration for major projects across Scotland, with Emilio assisting associate Angus Forbes in Glasgow and Iona working with the Building Consultancy in Aberdeen led by Building Consultancy director Jim Johnstone.
FG Burnett managing director, Angus MacCuish, said: “We have been pretty unique in that in the depths of recession we maintained our staff count and did not strip back to the bare essentials as other firms have done.
“Our business is as much about people as it is property, and introducing this new stream of graduate talent demonstrates our confidence in the market and puts down foundations for future growth. Each of our graduates have shown great potential and are making an important contribution to the future of FG Burnett.”
