Redditch’s fastest property consultant John Truslove is hoping to follow up a Championship winning 2013 with more success in a new category.
The commercial property agent was overall winner of the Jaguar Heritage E Type Challenge Series, amassing more points than his rivals over seven races in the year.During 2013 he competed at Donington Park, Silverstone, Oulton Park, the Nurburgring and Brands Hatch, racing a 1963 registered E-type with a 3.8 litre engine
And he is aiming to follow up with further success in his E Type in 2014 but has added another challenge this year.
He will be racing a Chevrolet IROC-Z Camaro with a 7.4 litre engine which has previously been raced by legends Mario Andretti and Al Unser.
The Chevrolet will be in action during 2014 at Silverstone, Donington Park and Brands Hatch.
John Truslove said: “I am really looking forward to making full use of the Chevrolet’s 7.4 litres in what is an extremly aptly named category – the Thunder Saloons.
“And we will be hoping to build on our success in the E Type again this year.”
