Birmingham-based building services provider J S Wright has strengthened its expertise in project commercial management by recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor from Coventry.
Norman Wilson has joined the company’s head office in Aston from a nationwide engineering services provider with 25 years’ experience in building services and facilities management.
He is already working on a residential gateway project at Alperton in north London, a new high-rise mixed-use scheme at Indescon Court on the Isle of Dogs, and a Signature care home in Epsom.
Having started his career as a trainee quantity surveyor in London, Norman has worked as a quantity surveyor on major hospital and scientific establishments including the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, the Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Marcus Aniol, Managing Director of J S Wright, which also has a London office, said: “Norman’s experience will prove invaluable as we have increasingly become the mechanical services contractor of choice for major residential projects, especially in the South East.”
Norman enjoys horseracing and motorsport in his spare time.
J S Wright, which was founded in 1890, is a specialist provider of mechanical services to the hotels, residential, student and social housing, leisure and office markets.
