Pub company, Marston’s is starting work on its latest family pub restaurant in Pembroke Dock. Located as part of the Martello Quay’s waterfront development by Conygar, the new outlet will provide a 150-seat public house and restaurant suitable for families and local residents.
Stuart Hogg Property Consultants acted for Marston’s in acquiring the 0.89 acre site in a subject to planning deal that completed following the grant of planning consent. The agents commented that, “The completion of this deal is a sign of confidence in the Marston’s product being able to raise the quality of offering in locations like Pembroke Dock and will also be a boost to the Martello Quay development. We are looking for more sites for Marston’s and other clients that will help in the regeneration of towns across Wales and although these acquisitions can take a long time to come to fruition, with several more in the pipeline, we expect the next 12 months to be a busy time.”
Steve Roberts, Head of Acquisitions at Marston’s, added: “Marston’s is committed to providing new, quality pub-restaurants across the UK and is delighted to be working with Conygar at the Pembroke Dock site. Our new pubs create significant levels of employment and offer real hubs for locals and visitors to the area to dine, meet and socialise.”
Legat Owen in Chester acted for Conygar.
