Courier specialist Priority Express has moved its Cardiff operation to new premises at Regent Trade Park, Ocean Park, Cardiff.
The company has leased the 3,162 sq ft Unit 11 on a 10 year lease at an annual rental rising to £20,500. Landlord CBRE Investors was advised by property consultants Knight Frank and GVA.
Regent Trade Park is situated within Ocean Park, one mile to the south east of Cardiff City Centre and close to the A4161 Newport Road. It offers 12 units providing a modern one stop trade park for showroom and trade counter operations and includes occupiers such as The Word, Tool Station, Euro Car Parts and Greggs.
Priority Express previously provided its same day, overnight and international courier services from Culverhouse Cross, while its Cardiff Cycle Couriers service operated from premises in Cathedral Road.
Paul Havill, managing director of Priority Express said: “We have moved the two businesses into a single site to create efficiencies and economies of scale. We chose Regent Trade Park for its great central location close to the city centre – an important consideration for our cycle courier business.”
Neil Francis, associate at Knight Frank, said: “Following on from the letting to Tool Station earlier this year we are pleased to have secured Priority Express as the latest tenant on this popular estate. We worked closely with them to ensure the letting package we were able to offer allowed them to move seamlessly from their existing property.”
Tom Merrifield of GVA said: “As a result of this letting our client is now in the process of refurbishing Units 3 and 6. Both are visible from Ocean Way and will be on the market during January.”
