The final round of funding from the Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme is available for environmentally friendly SMEs in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Grants between £20,000 and £1 million can be secured to help companies grow and diversify in the green sector.
Businesses focused on renewable energy, low carbon, building technologies, manufacturing, transport or logistics are urged to put forward their submissions before the closing date of Friday, January 31.
Richard Seager, Business Development Manager at WMG, University of Warwick, who is part of the Green Bridge Investment Board that decides which projects to fund, said a total of £9 million was available across the West Midlands.
He said: “This is the fifth round of funding to provide grants for a wide range of projects in a sector which continues to grow.
“The money can be used to buy capital equipment, re-locate or expand into new premises, develop new projects or markets as well as provide company training.
“The programme is funded by the Regional Growth Fund to provide grants to SMEs within the West Midlands and the size of the grants available means it can make a big difference to growth plans.
“It is a fantastic scheme for established SMEs with an environmental focus and from a variety of sectors including advanced engineering, aerospace and electronics to apply for funding.
“There is not much time to apply before the deadline for applications closes and as well as helping to expand businesses, the grants can create or safeguard jobs or give a helping hand to those who are looking to diversify.”
The Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme is run by Birmingham City Council alongside LEPs in Coventry and Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Black Country, Staffordshire and Stoke, The Marches and Worcestershire as well as the Birmingham Chamber Group and the region’s universities.
