Couch Consulting Engineers are delighted to announce their new management structure and ambitious expansion plan.
In line with the company’s growth strategy the decision has been taken to put in place a new management structure. Five new Directors have been appointed along with one Associate Director. CCE are also on a focused recruitment drive, bringing additional talent into the business to service the increasing work load. This year they have recruited nine additional staff taking their head count to 34 over their three offices.
The new structure will assist the expansion of the business and implement the future growth plan. It will ensure they remain strong in the various sectors and locations they work in.
The new Directors are Matt Dorril, Geoff Hall, Lawrence Hawkins, Douglas Croft and Mark Evetts with Matt Bonsall being made Associate Director.
Matt Dorril joined the company in the summer and has a strong business development background and a myriad of contacts in the property/construction sector, which will assist in expanding business opportunities. Mark Evetts has been with the company for 15 years and will run the Civils and Infrastructure team. Along with Geoff and Mark, Matt is based in the Sutton Coldfield Office.

The new Directors have the remit to grow the business in their respective geographical and sector specific areas.
Tony Rundle, Joint MD said “We are delighted to announce this new structure and we are looking forward to growing the business with this formidable team. We see a bright future ahead and coming out of five years of recession we feel ready to take on the new challenges of the market place”.
Nick Reed, Joint MD commented “One of the reasons we have been able to ride the recession is that we have a presence in all major sectors. We see a healthy future ahead due to our local contacts and our breadth of experiance. As market conditions are starting to improve, and with the new team in place, we are very excited about what the future holds for us”.
Tony and Nick will work with the new management team to deliver the new growth strategy and continue to oversee the future growth of the business along with their fellow Directors. They will still be responsible for the overall management of their strong portfolio of clients in sectors such as Education, particularly the Midland Universities, Housing and Infrastructure, Sport and Leisure, Retail and Industrial as well as continuing their longstanding relationship with JCB.
Following on from their 20th anniversary celebrations in the Summer, Couch Consulting Engineers are now looking ahead to what the next twenty years may have in store for them.
