CBRE’s South Coast office has been appointed by two major occupiers in Basingstoke to market almost 100,000 sq ft of office space. Acting on behalf of international communications provider, Level 3 Communications CBRE has initially been instructed to let close to 14,000 sq ft of office space in one of Chineham Park’s flagship buildings, Ashwood. The ground floor suite is open plan, recently refurbished and comes with 67 parking spaces.
In addition, Level 3 Communications has instructed CBRE to bring to the market Rosalind House in Viable Business Park, Basingstoke which can provide just over 25,000 sq ft of office space in a standalone building.
CBRE is working with Baker Davidson Thomas on both these instructions.
CBRE has also been appointed to market up to 60,000 sq ft in Lilly House, just to the north of Basingstoke town centre, where 40,000 sq ft can be provided on one floor.
As the market begins to gain momentum, Basingstoke with its excellent transport links and major redevelopment plans is becoming more attractive to occupiers seeking good value rates. At Lily House, a very competitive quoting rent of just £5 per sq ft is driving interest from potential occupiers. Hollis Hockley is the joint agent.
Commenting on the instructions, CBRE Agency Associate Director Emma Lockey said: “These appointments demonstrate the strength of our regional presence across the South and strong links with central London teams.”
