Williams Gunter Hardwick have completed the 2013 acquisition programme of temporary stores for the retailer Hawkin’s Bazaar throughout the United Kingdom. 15 stores were acquired for Christmas trade on temporary basis in cities and towns such as Canterbury, Cambridge, Portsmouth, Derby and Glasgow with both local landlords and also large institutional landlords such as Hammerson and Westfield.
The additional temporary stores acquired for Christmas trade has increased the high street representation in the United Kingdom to 37 stores, in addition to the website (www.hawkin.com).
With a strong internet representation and the chain continuing to grow on the high street there is a strong possibility to convert some of these temporary stores to permanent if they are strong performers.
Williams Gunter Hardwick and Hawkin’s Bazaar have enjoyed a successful professional relationship for over 10 years.
