Leading trade credit insurer, Atradius, is holding a free breakfast seminar to help Welsh businesses improve their cash flow.
The ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ seminar will be held at the Atradius Headquarters in Cardiff Bay on Tuesday 14th January and will welcome Philip King, Chief Executive of the Institute of Credit Management (ICM), as guest speaker.
Trading on credit can be unpredictable and can put businesses at risk due to extended delays, poor credit management and customer insolvency. The ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ seminar aims to help businesses understand these risks and learn how to minimise them.
As well as being Chief Executive of the ICM, Philip King is a keen campaigner for better payment practices. Philip will be sharing his experience in the credit management profession and explaining how businesses can protect themselves from financial loss caused by customer non-payment.
The seminar, which will be of particular interest to all Welsh businesses trading in the UK and in export markets, will also provide the opportunity to meet regional representatives from Atradius’ South West Regional Hub. Expert underwriters and credit management professionals will be on-hand to answer questions and offer advice to businesses attending the seminar.
Marc Henstridge, Country Manager & Director of Commercial UK & Ireland (interim) said: “Doing business on credit seems like a simple enough process, but unfortunately it’s rarely as straightforward as selling the goods, raising the invoice and getting paid. The Buy Now, Pay Later seminar will give businesses a better understanding of the factors that play a role in credit management and this knowledge should enable them to make better deals, improving cash flow and financial stability for their company.”
