Leading Midland independent property consultancy GJS Dillon has completed Worcester’s largest office letting this year. The firm has let recently-refurbished offices close to Worcester city centre to a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged people find work.
The Shaw Trust Ltd is moving into the 6,448 sq ft Unit 2, Tolladine Road, half a mile to the east of the city centre.
The Shaw Trust is a not-for-profit organisation which helps disabled or disadvantaged people find sustainable employment, or helps them to enjoy more independent living. The Trowbridge-based charity was formed in 1981 and works with the long-term unemployed, people with physical or mental health issues, learning difficulties or lack of skills or work opportunities.
The single-storey purpose-built office building was recently extensively refurbished and was proactively marketed by the recently expanded GJS Dillon team. The largely open-plan building includes meeting rooms and kitchens and has on-site parking for 44 vehicles. The building was let on behalf of Worcester-based Elite Properties.
John Dillon of GJS Dillon said, “This is a good quality office building in an excellent position in a mixed commercial district close to the city centre. We are pleased to have attracted such an well-suited client, involved in vital work for the community, to occupy this property. This is Worcester’s largest office letting this year and is symptomatic of a general upward trend in the office market throughout the county.”
GJS Dillon LLP, with offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove, offers a full range of commercial property consultancy services throughout Worcestershire and surrounding areas, and along the M5 and A38 corridors.
