A light industrial unit with one of the best parking to space ratios in Cheltenham and Gloucester has been snapped up in a six-figure deal.
Acting on behalf of Ultra Electronics, who had vacated the premises in order to move to a newly refurbished 100,000 ft2 facility at Arle Court, Robert Smith of Bruton Knowles, confirmed the building has now been acquired by Clarkson Evans, a Gloucester-based electrical contractor and training provider which specialises in wiring new homes for most of the UK’s major house builders.
Located on the Anson Business Park between Gloucester and Cheltenham, the 16,600 sq ft building has parking for 60 cars which made it highly desirable for businesses needing space for staff and to serve a delivery fleet.
Robert said: “With a building of this size you would normally expect around forty parking spaces so to have sixty really is a benefit.
“Any business occupier that has a requirement for a high level of parking always struggles to find a suitable building so it came as no surprise that a company the size of Clarkson Evans which has a relatively large fleet of vehicles quickly stepped in.
“Being close to Junction 11 of the M5 will provide the business easy access to the motorway network so its team of electricians will be able to get to and from sites with relative ease.”
