Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s recent success at the British Chambers of Commerce Annual Awards has been welcomed by Worcestershire’s Local Enterprise Partnership.
The Chamber was awarded ‘Chamber of the Year’ at a ceremony held recently in London, where Nora Senior, President of the British Chambers of Commerce commented that Hereford and Worcester stood out as a ‘shining light’.
Worcestershire LEP has a close working relationship with Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Chief Executive, Mike Ashton, sits on the LEP’s Business Board and Chairs its Tourism & Leisure Strategy Group. Mr Ashton is also a member of the LEP’s National Profiling Strategy Group.
On hearing the news of the Chamber’s Award, Peter Pawsey, Executive Chair at Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership said: “We were extremely pleased to hear that Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber had been recognised at the National Chamber Awards.
