Business is good for Vail Williams’ expanding team of commercial property experts in Guildford which last week moved into new offices.
The regional office recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in the town and is now working from fresh headquarters conveniently located close to the train station at Carriage House, Walnut Tree Close.
The step up from its old base in Station View reflects the office’s busy time with three recent appointments to the team and a string of profitable successes for clients.
Vail Williams Office Manager and Partner in Valuation Ashley Bell, who heads the Guildford office, said: “We’re delighted with our new offices. They keep us in the heart of Guildford, close to the station, and well within reach for clients.
“The move reflects our success in overcoming difficult economic times, not just for us but on behalf of our clients too. For instance, our Guildford office has dealt with in excess of 500 planning applications for residential units, plus some 600,000 sq ft of office space in the last year.
“In fact, over the last 10 years we have also achieved planning permission for more than 1 million square feet of commercial floor space. The valuation team plays a key role in the area too, undertaking valuations of both commercial and residential property.
“I think our achievements are down to the wide range of services we offer, our local knowledge and the team’s expertise. Guildford is an excellent base and we look forward to continued success.”
Recent staff additions include senior planner John McNally, graduate planner Chris Fairchild and Emily Knowles who joins the valuation team as a graduate, following her time as an intern. They add further knowledge and experience to Vail Williams’ full range of property services.
