Manchester-based Property management company Capital Properties has appointed Libby Collingburn as the new head of its marketing and events team.
Libby joins from Proteintech, where she was head of marketing and led the company’s global marketing campaign. She will now oversee Capital Properties’ asset marketing strategies in her role as head of its events and animation branch, Capital Life.
Capital Properties manages assets nationwide and has a major presence in Manchester, Leeds, London and Aberdeen. The Capital Life branch of the company leads marketing campaigns, host events and creates videos to help tenants make the most of their space. Recent successes have included the transformation of Spinningfields in Manchester into a prime tourist destination using attractions such as the Screenfields open-air cinema, pop-up bars, a Christmas ice-rink and teepees.
Libby Collingburn said: “It’s great to be joining a team that stands at the cutting edge of site innovation and consistently pushes what property management can offer clients to the next level. The creativity that Capital Properties exercises in every aspect of its business is an example of the power of original marketing, and I’m looking forward to getting involved with some exciting new developments in 2014.”
Fran Burgess, Communications and Events Director at Capital Properties, said: “At Capital Properties we want to bring innovative solutions that are fresh and exciting, but are built upon a detailed understanding of how to turn a development into a community. Libby is a fantastic addition to our team, and will bring new expertise to the Capital Life creative campaign.
“This year has seen significant growth for the business, as we have focused on creating tourist destinations that continue to increase footfall in major UK cities. The next year will see further nationwide developments, as we look for more ways to engage the public.”
