A Solihull financial services company has doubled the size of its offices to support its recent growth.
Heritage Independent Financial Advisors Ltd (Heritage IFA), which celebrates its 10th anniversary in January 2014, has taken a 10-year lease on 2,300 sq ft of office space at Brisker Court in Knowle.
Brisker Court – owned by commercial property experts Birmingham Properties Group – is in a prominent high street location, providing access to a wealth of local amenities and the M42 motorway.
Heritage IFA has been based in Brisker Court for the past eight years. However, following an increase in their highly qualified advisory staff and additions to the administration team, the company required more space to accommodate its growing team.
John Shackleton, director at Heritage IFA, said: “’With recent legislation demanding much higher levels of qualifications and banning high product commissions, most banks and a number of independent financial advisors have closed their advisory arms.
“This has resulted in more people approaching us for advice and, in turn, increased our client base. We have also recently expanded our team and the additional office space provides ample workspace for our new employees as well as more rooms for private meetings with our clients and professional connections.
“Our clients are based all over the UK, so the office’s close proximity to the motorway is very handy. Many clients prefer to visit us and often take advantage of the good choice of local restaurants for lunch or have a look around the shops while they are here as Knowle is such a pleasant place to visit.”
John Southall, director of Birmingham Properties Group, said: “We are pleased to support Hertiage IFA’s growth within Brisker Court and hope the company continues to thrive in its new office.”
Brisker Court is also home to John Shepherd letting agents, which has an office on the ground floor. There is now only one vacant office in the building. The 1,044 sq ft, first floor space has recently been refurbished to a high standard and comes with two secure car parking spaces.
John Southall added: “The office would suit a small, local practice in the creative or professional services sector that is looking to move from serviced offices to traditional leased offices.”
