Logistics property investor and developer Verdion has secured a pre let to the world’s largest logistics providers for a high quality warehouse and distribution facility in Greve, Denmark – a strategically located and established logistics hub for Copenhagen and the wider Nordic markets. The scheme has an investment value in excess of €25 million.
A 10 acre (4 hectare) site has been acquired by Verdion to develop 161,400 sq ft (15,000 sq m) of Grade A logistics warehousing with further future expansion options available. The scheme is being developed to service the storage and distribution needs for a third party – one of the world’s largest healthcare companies and the largest company in the Nordics by market capitalisation. The facility will provide the very highest Grade A specification, with industry leading technology, operating as a strategic global logistics hub.
Construction has begun on site, with delivery of the completed facility scheduled for early Q4 2014.
Mike Hughes, CEO of Verdion, says: “To be entrusted to design, finance and develop this important facility for global clients reinforces Verdion’s reputation for strength and professionalism in the European logistics market. We have an experienced platform in Scandinavia and this latest leasing reflects our strong confidence in the Nordic market.”
