The former Poole Sports Centre is being transformed into one of the largest indoor climbing centres in the South. The Project Climbing Centre have taken a new lease on the property which extends to 38,600 sq ft and is located on the second floor of The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole Town Centre.
Alastair Knott, Director of Sibbett Gregory, who acted on behalf of the Landlord to negotiate the lease, commented: “We have been working hard to bring about this transaction for some time and are delighted that The Project Climbing Centre are now in occupation. The new climbing centre will be a fantastic addition to Poole, providing modern indoor climbing facilities that will be accessible all year round.”
Freddie Naish, Managing Director of the Project Climbing Centre commented: “The Project Climbing Centre is a dedicated climbing and training facility run by climbers for climbers. We aim to provide the best facilities and the best support for climbers of all ages and abilities. Initially just a bouldering centre, we aim to develop our centre into one of Europe’s leading centres for training and development whilst retaining an open and inviting environment where newbies and oldies can climb side-by-side and have fun.”
