Rebecca Roberts has been promoted to surveyor at Knight Frank in Cardiff, following her success in passing the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) examination.
She started with Knight Frank in September 2011 on its graduate scheme, after graduating with first class honours in Property Management and Investment from the University of the West of England.
As well as studying and practical training towards her RICS assessment of professional competence, she has been involved in a range of projects for Knight Frank’s Professional and Agency Teams and over the last 12 months has played a proactive role in the marketing of the M7 Portfolio, which includes over 40 industrial estates across South Wales.
Rebecca received her results last week, which makes her a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Chartered Surveyor.
Matt Phillips, managing partner of Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “We are delighted that Rebecca has passed her Assessment of Professional Competence and is now a fully qualified chartered surveyor. Rebecca has been with Knight Frank two years and has impressed us all with her hard working approach combined with a real understanding of how commercial property works and ensuring that our clients receive a first class service. We look forward to supporting Rebecca in the next stage of her career which we are sure will be very successful.”
Outside work Rebecca is also involved in the MATRICS, which is an RICS committee of young property professionals that organise events, members’ development and support to those studying towards their assessment of professional competence. Rebecca is a keen golfer and organised the RICS Wales golf day earlier this year.
