One of the best known names on the East Midlands commercial property scene has launched a new business venture.
Property and regeneration specialist Russell Rigby, managing director of Rigby & Co, has teamed up with Brett Critchley, founder of leading Derby IT services and support company Orchid IT, and facilities management expert Marc Brough to launch Quantum Facilities Services, a brand new concept in estates maintenance.
Quantum, which is based on the Wyvern Business Park in Derby, provides a unique estates maintenance service covering everything from commercial cleaning, grounds care and landscaping to building maintenance and repairs.
Traditionally, businesses employ a cleaner, a separate gardener and a third party to take care of property maintenance. Unlike traditional cleaning companies, Quantum can deal with everything from one central source, whether it’s repairing a boiler, carrying out building work or simply sourcing a specialist light fitting.
The company’s strength also lies in its response times and levels of customer care. The account management team all have considerable experience in the field of estates maintenance and provide a proactive service, whether clients are contracted to the company, or need help with an ad hoc project.
The three directors are all local business people with a proven track record in their respective fields. Russell Rigby has been a leading light in Derby’s property community for more than two decades, providing specialist advice on property, development and regeneration matters across the region.
Brett has more than 15 years’ experience of marketing IT and support services to the SME sector in the East Midlands.
Over the years, Marc Brough has established a reputation as one of the leading facilities experts in the UK, with a track record that is second to none. Most recently he has been running his own business, a franchise of disaster recovery and specialist cleaning services, Rainbow International.
One of the company’s first high profile contracts is Derby County Football Club. The company is now responsible for all cleaning and associated maintenance work at Pride Park Stadium and the club’s Moor Farm training facility.
Another 20 plus contracts have come on-stream very quickly, with clients ranging from professional service firms including Dains accountants, to other well known names including buymobilephones.net and the Derby Brewing Company.
Quantum has also recently been unveiled as Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce’s (DNCC) latest Patron, alongside leading names including East Midlands Airport, Experian, DHL Express, Toyota and Wilkinson.
Commenting on their decision to launch the new venture, Russell Rigby said:
“Quantum really is a one-stop shop for all estates maintenance matters and works in partnership with its clients to offer a dedicated service that will provide them with the services they need, when they need them.”
Brett Critchley added:
“The three directors are all established members of the business community with a huge amount of experience and expertise. Ours a very simple approach but it works. Nobody else is doing it anything like this regionally – it’s very exciting and is growing very quickly.”
