Knight Frank’s head of healthcare, Julian Evans, is to set off on Wednesday 20th November 2013 to climb Aconcagua in Argentina.
Standing at 6,929m high, Aconcagua is the highest peak in South America and the highest mountain outside of The Himalayas. Temperatures reach lows of -35c including high winds.
Julian is raising money for The Matt Hampson Foundation, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy and LandAid. The expedition will take around three weeks and is sponsored by Avery Healthcare, Runwood Homes and Caring Homes Group.
Julian has summited Mont Blanc, walked to the North and South Pole and is planning to row the Atlantic in April 2014.
He commented; “Aconcagua is often underestimated and is an immense challenge which I’m very much looking forward to having a crack at.”
