Nottingham’s leading law firm Cartwright King is supporting ‘Help a Nottinghamshire Child’ by sponsoring the next Unique Connections event taking place on Thursday 28 November at the Galleries of Justice Museum.
Unique Connections is a Nottingham business networking group formed by and held at the Galleries of Justice Museum, which runs regular networking events for the local business community whilst helping to raise funds for the charity’s fundraising campaign, ‘Help a Nottinghamshire Child’ (HNC).
Deborah Labbate is the guest speaker at the event. She will be sharing her top tips, tools and techniques for effective networking.
In addition the Lace City Chorus will be entertaining guests on the night. The chorus is highly regarded as one of the premier barbershop choruses in Europe, having been UK, Ireland and Netherlands Barbershop Champions four times and represented the UK four times at the World Championships in Detroit, Calgary, Nashville and Houston. They have also appeared at the London Palladium and on BBC Children in Need.
Senior consultant and business defence specialist at Cartwright King Lynn Bleakley is a member of the Lace City Chorus and will be singing with them on the night. She said: “I have been attending Unique Connections for some time and so I am delighted to be performing. Given the areas of the law that Cartwright King specialises in and what ‘Help a Nottinghamshire Child’ does, it’s a natural fit for the firm to be sponsoring the occasion. It is also a great opportunity to network with like-minded business professionals.”
